On 19th June 2022, Nepal-USA Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NUSACCI) delegation led by President, Mr. Kiran P. Saakha paid a courtesy call to Hon’ble Foreign Minister, Dr. Narayan Khadka. The agenda of the meeting was to introduce newly elected executive board members and discussion on various dimensions of Nepal-USA Trade Relation. The major issues briefed and discussed are: utilization of Technical Assistance provision in the Trade and Investment Agreement (TIFA), effective implementation of compensation law, attract American investment in the hydro power sector, problem faced by Nepali student for obtaining interview date, single country show with the support of Nepalese Embassy, high duty tariff on Nepali shoe product, review of 77 items duty free access to USA. Other members of the delegation attended the meeting were Mr. Birendra Rajkarnicar, Vice President; Prof. Dr. Gandhi Pandit, General Secretary and executive board members, Mr. Brindaban Man Pradhanang, Ms Rajani Rana and Mr Sunil Rajbhandhari respectively.
